Bestattungen Am Sund

Bestattungen am Sund is an independently owned funeral home serving Stralsund and the surrounding region. Founded by Jens-Uwe and Katja Kallwaß, the business offers compassionate, personal support to families before, during and after a loss. Its team is available around the clock in the event of a death, helping relatives understand the next steps and arranging the transfer of the deceased.

Services include coordinating funerals, memorial ceremonies and gatherings, as well as grave and floral arrangements, funeral notices and printed materials. The funeral home also assists with domestic and international transfers, official paperwork, pension and insurance matters, and household clearances. Families can choose among burial, cremation, sea, woodland, Tree of Life and diamond funerals, with arrangements shaped around individual wishes and the life being remembered.

Bestattungen am Sund also provides personal funeral planning and advice on financial provision, helping people record their preferences and ease decisions for loved ones. Consultations take place in the company’s Stralsund premises or, by arrangement, at home.
