Bestattungen Harde

Bestattungen Harde is a family-rooted funeral service in the Wesermarsch region of Germany, supporting families in Stadland, Ovelgönne, Moorriem and surrounding areas. Founded in 1880 by Carsten Harde, the business has a long local history and is now led by Stefan Schellstede, who took over in 2022 and also began running the Gillhaus funeral business in Moorriem in 2025. The team offers personal, compassionate guidance and is available around the clock by phone, WhatsApp and email, with consultations at its locations or at a family’s home.

Services include arranging funerals and memorial ceremonies, managing paperwork and notifications to authorities, insurers and pension providers, and coordinating flowers, printed materials and post-service gatherings. The firm arranges earth, cremation and urn, sea, woodland, anonymous and Tree of Life funerals, advising families on suitable options. Bestattungen Harde also provides funeral pre-planning, helping clients record their wishes and arrange for funds to be securely held through Deutsche Treuhand Bestattungsvorsorge AG. Its facilities include dedicated spaces for consultation and support.
