Bestattungen Kurzawa

Bestattungen Kurzawa is a family-run funeral business based in Finsterwalde, Germany. Founded in November 1996 by Gabriele and Joachim Kurzawa, the company has served the local community for more than 20 years. Gabriele Kurzawa continues to lead the business, providing personal support and guidance to families during bereavement. Its services include funeral advice and grief support, arranging ceremonies, handling required formalities, and helping clients plan and document their funeral wishes in advance. The company also offers information on funeral arrangements, costs, necessary documents, and related practical matters.

At its Finsterwalde premises, Bestattungen Kurzawa has a private ceremony hall accommodating at least 80 people, a coffin and urn exhibition, and dedicated cooling and hygiene rooms. The business received the German Funeral Directors Association’s quality mark and a TÜV Rheinland seal in 2018. Staff are available around the clock, including Sundays and public holidays, to assist in a bereavement. Bestattungen Kurzawa aims to offer a calm, respectful setting where families can make individual arrangements and say goodbye at their own pace.
