Bestattungen Schürck

Bestattungen Schürck is a family-run funeral home based in Gelsenkirchen, serving families in the surrounding area, including Essen and Bochum. Founded in 1885 by Wilhelm Schürck as a carpentry business with funeral services, it is now led by Ursula Schürck in its fourth generation. The company offers sensitive guidance and practical support before, during, and after a bereavement, helping families manage formalities and arrangements so they can focus on mourning and remembrance.

Its services include organizing individual funerals, with information and assistance for burial, cremation, and sea burial, as well as different grave options and anonymous burial. The funeral home also provides caskets, urns, flowers, and wreaths, and offers advice on funeral planning and advance arrangements. Customers can learn about funeral provision, including funeral insurance and trust accounts, and access online services through its customer center. Schürck’s website also shares resources for grieving families, such as guidance on coping with loss, condolence-letter examples, and recommended reading.
