With members from various regions in Chile and around the world, Bestias del Sur specializes in outdoor educational activities that connect human groups to the ecosystems they inhabit. They also facilitate alliances between athletes, local communities, and socio-environmental movements focused on the conservation and protection of rivers, forests, seas, and mountains.

Their upcoming event, Ciclo del Mar (Cycle of the Sea), is a series of virtual talks that cover topics such as whale rescue in Caleta Chrome, swimmers' collectives in Concón, fishing communities in the Juan Fernández Archipelago, and marine protected areas in Patagonia. These experiences will be shared during this virtual encounter.
