Welcome to BestSelf Behavioral Health. BestSelf is a leading and innovative organization in the field of behavioral health services in Western New York. Formed through the merger of Child & Adolescent Treatment Services and Lake Shore Behavioral Health in 2017, we have a combined experience of 120 years in serving the community.
We are the largest community-based behavioral health organization in Western New York, providing services to children and adults of all ages. Our mission is to provide innovative, evidence-based, and accessible behavioral health services that promote health, hope, recovery, and an enhanced quality of life. We offer a wide range of programs and services, including mental health and substance use disorder treatment, education and vocational supports, mobile mental health services, homeless outreach and housing, and community and school-based programs.
We are proud to have Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) that integrate behavioral health care with physical health care, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment. Our services are rooted in our beliefs of providing person-centered care, involving families and significant others, and delivering culturally competent and trauma-informed services.
