About BetaReader.io
BetaReader. io is a revolutionary platform designed to transform the traditional beta reading process for authors. With a passion for storytelling, founder and CEO Jonas Frid, along with co-founder and CTO Axel Frid, embarked on a mission to create a better way for authors to gather feedback on their manuscripts.
The idea for BetaReader. io was born when Jonas experienced the frustration of receiving disorganized and untimely feedback from his beta readers. Some finished his sci-fi novel in weeks, while others took months or never completed it at all.
Feedback arrived in various formats, from email conversations to annotated PDFs, making it challenging to gain a comprehensive understanding of reader experiences. Determined to find a solution, Jonas scoured the internet but found no suitable tool to streamline the beta reading process. Drawing on his coding expertise, he set out to develop BetaReader.
io—a platform that enables authors to effortlessly share their manuscript with a large audience, track reading progress, and collect feedback in a structured manner. Supported by enthusiastic authors and entrepreneur Alfred Ruth, BetaReader. io quickly garnered attention and support.
