About Bethel Health
Bethel Health Center is a community health and wellness service specially designed to help students stay healthy and ready to learn. It serves current students who live within Bethel School District boundaries, Bethel Head Start students, and Bethel School District staff and their dependents. Bethel students and their families, as well as staff members and their families, can schedule appointments with nurse practitioner Angela Bradley.
The center offers health care and mental health services, including individual, family, and group therapy for students residing within the Bethel District. Its medical services include age-appropriate vaccinations, flu shots, and sports physicals. The center is staffed by a nurse practitioner, medical office assistant, mental health therapists, a secretary, and a director. Medical oversight is provided by Steven Yoder, MD, together with a community advisory board that includes local health professionals, school representatives, educators, and students.
Bethel Health Center is funded through grants, public funds, Medicaid reimbursement, third-party insurance, and school district support. Patients and other supporters may also contribute donations.
