NMDP México

NMDP México is a nonprofit organization that connects patients who need a stem cell transplant with potential donors. Its mission is to expand access to cellular therapy by growing a diverse donor registry and helping patients find a genetic match. The organization reports more than 243,000 potential donors, over 470 stem cell collections, more than 166 transplants in Mexico, and a network of over 23 transplant centers.

People aged 18 to 35 who are in good health can register as potential donors. NMDP México also welcomes volunteers, who help organize events and support donor registration, and benefactors, whose contributions help patients access needed transplants. For patients, caregivers, and families, its Patient Support Center provides guidance, information, and resources.

The organization works with healthcare professionals and transplant centers, offering continuing education opportunities, academic scholarships, and free resources for professionals, patients, and caregivers. It also runs events to promote donor registration, shares patient stories and educational content, and offers university students opportunities to complete social service projects.
