Bethlehem Handicrafts

Christian Holy Land Gifts is a family business offering handcrafted religious items made by Christian artisans in Bethlehem. Founded by George Bannoura, who grew up in the city, the business has connected the work of around 400 Holy Land artisan families with Christian homes across America since 2000. Its carvings are made from olive wood sourced from pruned branches and centuries-old trees in the Bethlehem hills, continuing a craft passed down through generations.

The collection includes olive wood rosaries, crucifixes, wall and standing crosses, nativity scenes, ornaments, statues, figurines, plaques, icons, and other devotional pieces. Shoppers can also find jewelry such as cross pendants and prayer bracelets, as well as kitchenware, Nablus olive oil soap, and church supplies. Products serve occasions including baptisms, First Communion, confirmation, weddings, Christmas, and memorials, with options across a wide range of budgets. The business also offers custom mosaic pieces, bulk and parish orders, and guided Christian pilgrimages to the Holy Land hosted by the Bannoura family.
