About Better Aging and Policy Consulting
Better Aging and Policy Consulting is a brand founded by Allison Cook in 2021. Our mission is to create systems that enable quality lives for older adults and those who provide services to them. With our unique understanding of the aging services system and the levers for change, we stand out in the industry. Our clients include non-profits, start-ups, unions, and more.
Allison Cook, the founder, was initially inspired by caring for her grandparents, working as a home health aide, and volunteering in nursing homes. She is truly passionate about creating an equitable, affordable, and quality long-term services and supports (LTSS) system. Her experience ranges from directly providing long-term care to advising AgeTech start-ups on business opportunities. This diverse background gives her a unique insight into the system and how to improve it.
