BetterFloat is an independent browser-extension project that adds pricing information, item data, alerts, and trading tools to leading Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) skin marketplaces. Designed to help traders make informed decisions, it brings price comparisons from supported markets into marketplace pages, with values converted to the user’s currency and hourly price data provided by Pricempire.

The extension offers features including listing-age indicators, minimum bargain prices, applied-sticker calculations, and detailed Case Hardened pattern information. Users can preview items with in-game screenshots and access links to third-party resources for price histories, market analytics, and skin information. BetterFloat supports more than 20 markets and works with Chrome, Firefox, and other Chromium-based browsers, including Opera, Edge, and Brave. Its features, displayed values, and appearance can be customized, and settings may sync across devices when browser extension syncing is enabled.

BetterFloat is open source and community-driven, with code available on GitHub and community support through Discord. The project states that it is not affiliated with Valve or the marketplaces it supports.
