Betty Wunder Memorial Foundation

Wunder spent much of her career at Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, where she championed young patients, strengthened standards of care, and helped build a leading pediatric diagnostic radiology team. Her work included reducing radiation exposure for children and bringing MRI technology to Oklahoma. She also taught and mentored aspiring radiology professionals, reflecting a lifelong dedication to learning and service. The foundation celebrates her belief that “it’s not how close you get, but the angle at which you look,” a perspective that shaped both her professional practice and her approach to life.
