Beyond Architects is a multidisciplinary architecture studio based in Loulé, in Portugal’s Algarve region. Active since 2012, the practice views architecture as a meeting point for place, design, technology, sustainability and human experience. Its guiding aim is to create a better tomorrow by bringing places, people and nature into balance, and to design spaces that improve everyday life and contribute positively to their surroundings.
The studio works across a range of scales and project types, including housing, hospitality, offices and public facilities. Its selected portfolio features private homes and multifamily buildings, a four-star hotel, an office building, a sports complex, a library and archive, a museum and a chapel. Projects span locations in Portugal and abroad, and include both commissioned work and competition entries.
Beyond Architects supports projects from initial concepts and planning through construction, offering architecture, urban planning and interior design, as well as consultancy and cost control. The studio’s founding partners are architects Inês Gomes and Vitor Ribeiro.
