Beyond Fun Studio

Beyond Fun Studio is a Quebec-based indie video game studio founded by three passionate developers. Their debut game, Aeolis Tournament, has garnered attention and acclaim. The studio is committed to creating unique and engaging gaming experiences.

The idea for Beyond Fun Studio took shape when programmer and designer Samuel Lapointe met fellow programmer Jean-Benoit Guertin while working at Sarbakan. They began collaborating on a rogue-like platformer game, which caught the attention of artist Sébastien Gauvin, who joined the project. Following their success at the Pixel Challenge 2018, where they won the grand prize, they expanded their team to include artist Jonathan Nadeau.

Over the course of a year, the team diligently developed Aeolis Tournament, showcasing it at various gaming events like the Tokyo Game Show, PAX South, and PAX East. The game is now available on both Steam and Nintendo Switch. Beyond Fun Studio aspires to remain a small yet innovative team, focusing on their own intellectual properties.
