Benjamin Franklin Charter School K-12

Benjamin Franklin Charter School is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in Arizona’s East Valley. Founded in 1995, it was among Arizona’s first charter schools and has spent three decades pursuing its mission of educating students one at a time. The school aims to provide a well-rounded education that combines strong academics, enriching programs, time-honored values, and meaningful parental participation.

Its four campuses include three elementary schools serving kindergarten through grade 6 and one junior high and high school campus serving grades 7 through 12. The school offers full-day and half-day kindergarten options, subject to campus availability, along with a traditional K–6 curriculum focused on core knowledge and academic fundamentals. At the secondary level, Benjamin Franklin High School follows a classical education model that emphasizes intellectual curiosity, academic and moral excellence, and learning how to think.
