BHcare

BHcare is a Connecticut-based behavioral health organization providing an integrated system of care for adults, children, and families. As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, it offers services for people navigating mental health challenges, substance use, domestic violence, and other health-risk behaviors. Its programs are licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and the Department of Children and Families.

BHcare’s services include outpatient clinical care, specialized trauma treatment, integrated care, and medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. Children and families can access counseling, early childhood programs, and other support. The organization also provides domestic violence shelter, counseling, advocacy, and family justice services, along with supportive and supervised housing. Its prevention and wellness programs aim to reduce substance misuse and promote positive mental health, while support services help clients build skills for independent living.

BHcare’s family of programs includes Valley and Shoreline Clinics, the Parent Child Resource Center, The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, Hope Family Justice Center, and Alliance for Prevention and Wellness.
