Bianca Balzer

Bianca Balzer is a trained speaker and independent celebrant based in Werder an der Havel, serving families in Potsdam, Potsdam-Mittelmark, Brandenburg and, by arrangement, further afield. Since 2015, she has supported people through bereavement with personal, respectful funeral ceremonies shaped around the life and wishes of the person being remembered. Drawing on her own experience of loss, Balzer listens closely, asks thoughtful questions and helps families find words during a difficult time.

Her services include an initial, non-binding telephone conversation, a personal interview, writing and delivering an individual eulogy, and helping plan the ceremony, music and schedule. She can also provide music equipment and playback, offer live singing or Lakota flute performance for an additional fee, and create an audio recording of the speech as a keepsake. In addition to funeral speeches, Balzer composes original songs based on clients’ ideas, with a creation timeframe of at least eight weeks. She provides a written fee proposal after the initial conversation, allowing families to decide whether to proceed.
