The Club Hippique de Biarritz was an equestrian centre based at Ilbarritz, serving riders, horse owners, schools, social centres and the wider local community. Over 18 years of operation, it offered riding lessons and trail rides, supported sporting development, and prepared riders for French Equestrian Federation exams. Its activities included competitive disciplines such as dressage, show jumping and hunter, alongside horse boarding, accommodation for travelling horses, equestrian stays, school programmes, group sessions and holiday courses.

The club also provided sport-study instruction and professional training, and hosted competitions, demonstrations and equestrian shows. Its facilities were expanded during its operation, and its programme welcomed participants ranging from beginners and pony riders to amateur and professional competitors. Visitors could also use the club house, attend events and access an online shop.

The centre organised competitions at club, regional and international levels, with public events and results shared through its news and event communications
