BIATEC

BIATEC is a falconry group based in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, founded in 2010 by enthusiasts of the art of falconry. From an initial idea, the group has grown into a community that established and developed its own falconry station. After earlier locations at a primary school on Okružná Street and in the park in Radvaň, BIATEC is now based on Tulská Street in Fončorda, where it is building a new station with the support of the Slovak National Uprising Museum.

Visitors are warmly invited to come and discover the group’s work and birds of prey. BIATEC offers an opportunity to experience these animals up close and appreciate the work involved in their care and presentation. Opening hours are flexible: visitors can come when members are at the station or arrange a visit by telephone.

Admission is voluntary, allowing guests to decide how much to contribute. The group also welcomes people interested in joining and shares information about its activities, birds, prices and contact details through its website
