Biathlon Idee

Biathlon Idee e.V. is a nonprofit association based in Ruhpolding, Germany, dedicated to supporting young athletes who train at the Biathlon Regional Training Center, particularly students from the Chiemgau Ski Association. Its goal is to make participation in biathlon possible for all interested young people by helping cover the practical costs of training and competition.

The association provides equipment and materials and helps finance training activities. Its support addresses significant expenses, including ammunition, sports equipment, and transportation to training sessions and events; the organization notes that a young biathlete may use around 10,000 rounds of ammunition in a season. Biathlon Idee e.V. also invites individuals to become members and encourages sponsors and other supporters to contribute to its youth development work.

The organization shares news about fundraising activities, including prize draws connected with the Biathlon World Cup and an advertised biathlon experience weekend in Ruhpolding. Through member contributions, sponsorship, and fundraising, Biathlon Idee e.V. works to sustain opportunities for the next generation of biathletes.
