Biatlon Rožnov

Klub biatlonu Rožnov pod Radhoštěm is a Czech biathlon club that has been active since 1968, supporting the development of young athletes in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and the surrounding region. Its main focus is introducing children and young people aged 6 to 21 to biathlon and providing ongoing training as they progress in the sport. Five licensed coaches from the Czech Biathlon Union guide the club’s athletes.

Members compete in winter biathlon and its summer counterpart, taking part in regional events, the Czech Cup and Czech Championships. The club reports successes across these competitions and regularly helps talented athletes move on to high-performance training centres in Letohrad, Nové Město na Moravě and Jablonec nad Nisou. Some former club members have gone on to represent the Czech Republic.

Through its children’s programme, recruitment activities, coaching and competitive opportunities, the club offers a pathway from first experiences in biathlon to advanced sporting development. It also shares club news and information for members, families and prospective athletes
