About The Bible Society of Uganda
The Bible Society of Uganda (BSU) is a Christian Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to serving churches and the general public by providing the Holy Scriptures in languages that people can easily understand. As a part of the global movement known as United Bible Societies, BSU supports churches of all denominations in over 145 countries. BSU collaborates closely with churches to foster a meaningful engagement with the Scriptures.
They offer a wide range of services such as Bible translation and publishing, trauma healing, and membership programs. Additionally, they organize various events, provide Bible reading plans, and operate a dedicated online shop. With a history dating back to 1968, BSU's roots can be traced back to the efforts of the British Foreign Bible Societies.
Throughout the years, they have successfully translated the Scriptures into multiple languages spoken in Uganda, including Luganda, Runyankole-Rukiga, and Ateso, among others. Join BSU in their mission to spread the teachings of the Bible and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities in Uganda.
