About Brussels International Center
The Brussels International Center (BIC) is an independent, non-profit think-and-do tank that aims to address the consequences of conflict. Led by Ambassador Marc Otte, the former European Union's Special Representative to the Middle East Peace Process, BIC is committed to developing solutions for insecurity, economic fragility, and conflict in the wider Middle East region and Africa. BIC conducts research on the historical, economic, social, and political factors influencing global issues and uses this research to provide forward-thinking and practical solutions to policy-makers, governments, and civil society.
With a focus on conflict and fragility, BIC employs a multifaceted approach that combines robust analysis, interdisciplinary strengths, and unique cultural experiences to produce valuable insights. By engaging leaders, civil society, and ordinary people in challenging debates, BIC aims to build connections, promote understanding, and contribute to the creation of more peaceful and resilient societies
