Bidebay

Bidebay is a resale service based in Bideford, helping people sell valuables and collectables through online auction sites. The business handles the work involved in selling items, including researching and photographing them, creating auction listings, managing listing and sale fees, and arranging packaging and postage. Customers receive 50% of the final selling price when an item sells, with Bidebay covering the associated administration and auction costs.

The service is designed to make selling straightforward and reduce the hassle of listing and shipping items. Bidebay serves the Bideford Bay area and other parts of North Devon, offering collection within five miles of its shop. Customers can also bring items to the town-centre premises, where valuables are securely stored while awaiting sale. Bidebay welcomes enquiries from people looking to clear clutter or find a buyer for vintage and other collectible goods. The business is not affiliated with eBay, though it uses online auction services to sell items on customers’ behalf.
