Bieg Lwa

Bieg Lwa is a running and community events brand based in Tarnowo Podgórne, Poland, organized by Fundacja Bieg Lwa. Its annual festival brings together runners, families, spectators, partners and local organizations for a varied program of sporting and entertainment activities. The main events include a half marathon, the 10-kilometre Pogoń za Lwem race and the Sztafeta Lwów relay. The program also features children’s races, a generational relay and activities on the stadium track, including Hobby Horse competitions.

For participants, Bieg Lwa provides practical event information such as routes, start lists, schedules, refreshment points, race regulations and details about race and recovery packages. The festival also offers an EXPO featuring partner stands, a food festival, a concert and a cheering competition. Results, photographs and multimedia from previous editions are available through the event website, which also shares parking guidance and other visitor updates. Supported by technical, business, medical, institutional and media partners, Bieg Lwa combines organized racing with a broader festival experience for participants and the wider community.
