Bienal FEMSA

Bienal FEMSA is an artistic platform dedicated to fostering artistic creation in Mexico and sharing the country’s diverse creative work. Over more than 30 years, it has developed from a biennial focused on painting and sculpture into an itinerant curatorial platform that brings exhibitions to different locations. By working in the communities where each edition takes place, Bienal FEMSA supports the circulation of art and encourages local collaboration and connections.

Its program includes recurring biennial editions, exhibitions, and related publications. Past editions have explored a range of formats and themes, including painting, sculpture, and installation, as well as curatorial projects such as Nunca fuimos contemporáneos, Inestimable azar, and La voz de la montaña. The organization also presents a retrospective exhibition and shares information about its team and activities through its website and newsletter.
