Biess Grabmale

Biess Grabmale is a family-oriented stoneworking and sculpture business in Kaiserslautern, Germany, specializing in individual memorials and gravestones. With a long tradition of craftsmanship, the company helps families create tributes that reflect the personality and memory of the person who has died. Its stone masons and sculptors combine traditional techniques with contemporary ideas, shaping designs around each customer’s wishes.

The team offers professional advice, attentive service, quality materials and careful workmanship, and welcomes requests across cultures and religious traditions. Services also include adding inscriptions to existing memorials, with lettering work available at the cemetery. In January 2019, Biess took over the historic Bildhauerei Lorenz in Otterberg, a business founded in 1928, and continues its work at that location.

Alongside its main base in Kaiserslautern, Biess serves customers through the Otterberg workshop and a branch in Enkenbach-Alsenborn. Customers can arrange individual consultations outside regular opening hours by calling the company
