Big Bad Con’s offerings extend beyond its in-person convention. Big Bad Online has featured free, round-the-clock panels on tabletop role-playing game topics, with fundraising support helping amplify marginalized designers, professionals, and players. In 2024, the convention introduced Big Bad Academy, an academic program developed with Auburn University. It provides opportunities for gaming scholars to attend, present, learn, and connect, alongside panels exploring games, history, and community. The organization also maintains an online community and shares past event resources and updates. Big Bad Con announced that both its in-person convention and Big Bad Online are on hiatus for 2025, while it keeps supporters informed about future developments.
