Big Dogs Don’t Cry is a large-breed dog rescue based in Merrillville, Indiana, focused on helping dogs find loving care and forever homes. The organization connects people interested in adopting with its adoption application and a view of available pets, making it possible to explore dogs seeking homes and begin the adoption process. It also offers a foster application for those who can provide temporary care, as well as a volunteer application for people who want to support its work.

Beyond adoption and fostering, Big Dogs Don’t Cry invites the community to learn more about the organization, meet its volunteers, attend events, and get in touch. Its website also recognizes partner organizations and initiatives, including Down South Doggies, DNA My Dog, and Pet Friendly Plate. Whether visitors are considering welcoming a dog, offering their time or home, or simply learning about the rescue, Big Dogs Don’t Cry provides several ways to get involved in supporting large-breed dogs and their search for permanent homes.
