About Biggest Little Ultra
Biggest Little Ultra is a Reno–Sparks endurance race brand welcoming runners and walkers to challenge themselves through ultrarunning. Its flagship Sparks Biggest Little Ultra takes place over two days and offers fixed-time races of 3, 6, 12, 24, and 48 hours, fixed-distance 50-mile and 100-mile races, and a six-hour relay for teams of up to six. A flat, safe course and shorter race options help newcomers explore longer-distance running while giving experienced athletes room to test their limits.
The event also organizes the Sparks Backyard Ultra, a last-person-standing race in which competitors complete a 4. 167-mile loop every hour until only one runner remains. Biggest Little Ultra combines athletic challenge with community impact, pledging a portion of 2026 race proceeds to Liberty Dogs, a nonprofit that trains service dogs for disabled veterans.
