Big Hearted Breeders is a family-run Mini Golden Retriever breeder based in Utah, led by Heather Gibson. The breeder raises puppies in a professional nursery and serves families nationwide, with delivery available through puppy nannies. Its breeding program aims to produce smaller companions that retain the friendly, intelligent, and loyal qualities associated with Golden Retrievers, while emphasizing health, temperament, and low-shedding coats. The dogs are developed by carefully mixing Golden Retrievers with Cocker Spaniels, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and Poodles.
Big Hearted Breeders reports screening parent dogs for more than 200 genetic disease combinations and prioritizing health clearances, early socialization, and ethical breeding practices. Puppies come with a wellness exam, veterinary health clearance, vaccines and deworming, a microchip, litter registration, a contract, 30 days of pet insurance, and a health warranty. The breeder also offers puppy training packages, stud service, nutrition and care resources, and emotional-support companion information. Families receive ongoing guidance after bringing a puppy home, while breeding coaching is available to other breeders.
