Big Rip Classic

Big Rip Classic is an annual disc golf tournament held in Mississippi at the beginning of October. Founded by Spin Crazy, a group of local disc golfers with experience competing in regional events and organizing tournaments, the event began in 2016 at Little Black Creek Campground & Park near Purvis, Mississippi. Tournament Director Michel Munn and local supporters and sponsors helped it grow into one of the Southeast’s largest-attended tournaments, with some of the region’s biggest payouts.

The event combines competitive disc golf with a broader player experience. Alongside tournament play, Big Rip Classic offers camping, a players’ party, live music, a fireworks show, and other activities. Its stated focus is on creating an enjoyable experience for players while maintaining a competitive environment. The organization also works to promote its sponsors and partner brands professionally. Its website provides information about registration, event and course schedules, refunds, accommodations, tournament history, and frequently asked questions. Big Rip Classic is organized by Big Rip Classic LLC and welcomes sponsor inquiries.
