Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island is the leading youth mentoring organization in the state, dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young people. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our mission is to provide children in our communities with professionally trained and supported adult mentors. Through the guidance and support of our volunteer mentors, we empower children to reach their full potential and become the best versions of themselves.

We pair children, aged 7 to 18, with caring adult mentors in structured mentoring relationships. Our mentors, or Bigs, serve as positive role models, helping their Littles overcome challenges, recognize their strengths, and navigate through life's obstacles. By fostering meaningful connections, we inspire young individuals to strive for greatness and create a brighter future.

In addition to our mentoring program, we also operate the BBBSRI Donation Center, collecting gently used clothing and household goods for resale. These funds directly support our mentoring program expenses, enabling us to continue making a difference in the lives of children throughout Rhode Island. Join us in defending the potential of our youth.
