BigTopParade

Baraboo’s Big Top Parade & Circus Celebration is an annual community event in Baraboo, Wisconsin, honoring the area’s circus heritage and bringing visitors together for a day of entertainment, remembrance, and family activities. Presented by the Baraboo Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Circus World and the volunteer Big Top Parade Committee, the celebration features a parade with historic circus wagons, marching bands, clowns, horses, and community participants. Circus World’s collection includes two-thirds of the circus wagons known to exist, many preserved for future generations.

The event also offers activities and performances around parade weekend, including live circus music, films at the Al. Ringling Theatre, children’s comedy and clowning, zoo animal meet-and-greets, bounce houses, and post-parade shows at Circus World. The parade has also served as a tribute to U.S. veterans and a celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. Organizers aim to attract visitors to the Baraboo area and support local businesses, while creating an engaging experience for audiences of all ages.
