Big Walls

Big Walls Brugherio is an indoor climbing centre in Brugherio, Italy, created from founder Gibi’s passion for climbing and mountaineering. The centre describes itself as one of Italy’s largest climbing gyms and served as a federal training centre for Italy’s national climbing team’s Olympic preparation in 2024. Its facilities include 3,300 square metres of climbing area, walls up to 24 metres high, more than 280 routes and over 160 boulder problems, with autobelay and ProGrade devices available.

Visitors can try lead climbing, bouldering and speed climbing, or train on equipment such as Kilterboard, Moonboard and Pan Güllich. The centre also offers dry training, calisthenics, children’s walls, yoga, aerial silks and acrobatics. Courses and services include adult and junior climbing classes, trial and private lessons, workshops, personal training, equipment rental and resoling. Additional offerings include school visits, birthday events, team building, massage therapy and osteopathy. Big Walls also lists organised trekking trips in Nepal, including routes to Everest and Annapurna. A bar and refreshment area are available on site.
