BiHRO

BiHRO is a Bosnian-Rotterdam community organisation that brings together people from Bosnia and Herzegovina living in Rotterdam and the surrounding area. It works to preserve and share Bosnian language, culture and traditions with future generations, while welcoming people of all backgrounds who are interested in cultural exchange and community life. Its mission also includes encouraging integration and cooperation within Rotterdam’s multicultural society.

BiHRO offers children’s Bosnian language lessons, traditional folklore dance groups for children and adults, and a women’s choir celebrating Bosnian musical traditions. The organisation hosts cultural events, including celebrations of Bosnian holidays, and provides an inclusive place to meet, learn and connect. Members and visitors can also take part in collaborations with other organisations, cultural initiatives and events.

BiHRO’s adult folklore dance group is available to perform at weddings, festivals, cultural events and other occasions, bringing traditional Bosnian dance, clothing and music to each performance. The organisation shares upcoming activities through its event calendar and invites people to enquire about performances, membership and participation.
