BikeSide MTB Festival Einsiedeln is a mountain biking event in Einsiedeln, Switzerland, formerly known as the IRON BIKE RACE Einsiedeln. Bringing together professional and recreational riders, beginners, families and spectators, the festival combines competitive racing with activities and entertainment for all ages. The 2026 edition is scheduled from 25 to 27 September.
At the heart of the event is the IRON BIKE RACE, a marathon featuring long, medium and short course options across challenging climbs, descents and scenic lakeside and hill-country terrain. The programme also includes an EASY RIDE and a KIDS RACE, offering accessible ways for hobby riders and children to take part. For the race’s 30th anniversary, a Vintage category invites participants to ride the 32-kilometre short course on classic 26-inch mountain bikes, with awards for distinctive outfits.
The festival’s Bike Village on Einsiedeln’s Klosterplatz features bike-industry exhibitors, shows, challenges and food. Visitors can also enjoy a street-food festival and live entertainment, including a 2026 trial-bike show by Lian Jenny.
