Bike to the Sea is an organization dedicated to connecting communities through shared-use trails. With their vision of creating the Northern Strand Community Trail, they have been actively working since 1993 to build a car-free trail from Everett to Lynn and Nahant beaches. Currently, the trail is being constructed through Everett, Malden, Revere, and Saugus, and will soon extend to Lynn.

In addition to trail development, Bike to the Sea offers various services and events to engage the community. They provide a comprehensive trail map, monthly progress reports, and updates on trail news. Their Bike Kitchen offers a space for bike enthusiasts to gather and brainstorm ideas.

They also organize annual rides and trail cleanups, inviting individuals to contribute to the maintenance and preservation of these trails. To support their initiatives, Bike to the Sea offers volunteer opportunities and membership options.
