Bild is a national charity that, for 50 years, has protected and supported the rights of people with learning disabilities. We want a more fair and equal society where everyone has the same rights and opportunities. By working in partnership with people with learning disabilities and autistic people, drawing from research and evidence, we identify best practice and what works. People want the right kind of support so they can make choices and decisions about the things that affect their lives. Bild offers workforce development; qualifications; training for family carers; organisational development and consultancy; membership for individuals and organisations; communities of practice; resources and events; grant-funded projects to support government initiatives.

About BILD
BILD is a pioneering brand founded in 1971 by Professor Gerry Simon with the aim of providing better support and championing the human rights of people with disabilities. Their vision is to create a society where everyone can enjoy the same rights and opportunities. BILD works diligently to develop the necessary skills and culture to understand the needs of individuals and enhance their quality of life.
They collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including government departments, service providers, NHS trusts, and mainstream organizations, to ensure excellent support for those with complex needs. BILD offers workforce development, accreditation, and training, as well as organizational development and consultancy services.
