Unclaimed brand
Die Fertigung von Grabsteinen und Denkmälern ist für mich mehr als nur die Ausführung einer Arbeit als Steinbildhauer. Ein Privileg verbunden mit grossem Respekt vor dem Leben und dem Tod.

Bildhauerei Wegmann is a small, personally run stone-carving studio in Sonnental, in eastern Switzerland, specializing in memorials and cemetery stonework. Founded in 1990, the atelier focuses on tombstones, grave monuments and urn graves. Owner and sculptor Kurt Wegmann provides personal advice and carries out the entrusted work himself, bringing a considered, respectful approach to projects connected with remembrance, life and death.
The studio’s work includes natural-stone memorials, family graves and carved inscriptions, with examples ranging from polished lettering to rough, rock-like surfaces and hand-worked finishes. Its gallery also presents detail views, sketches and other stonework, including holy-water basins and lanterns. Customers can discuss a project, request a quotation or arrange contact through the studio. Wegmann is a member of the Swiss Association of Sculptors and Stonemasons (VSBS). The business serves clients seeking individually crafted grave markers and related memorial work, combining practical consultation with hands-on stone carving and a personal commitment to each commission.
