The project also accepts adoption expressions of interest for future review. Adoption is free, while adopters are responsible for necessary transport costs and agree to follow-up checks. Debt Cat shares information about token-related income, wallet balances and disclosed expenses, distinguishing current figures from future plans. Its stated longer-term goal is to continue supporting cats in need and make rescue efforts visible and trackable for the community.
