Binderhoops is a New York Metro basketball recruiting and player-development organization founded in 1988 and directed by Steven Binder, a coach, professional skills trainer, and recruiting expert. Over more than 37 years, it has helped more than 2,600 student-athletes pursue opportunities to play college basketball through showcase events and development programs.

Its flagship event, the Binderhoops Select 60 Showcase, is a selective, NCAA-compliant recruiting showcase for committed players seeking college-level competition and exposure. The event brings 60 athletes together in one gym for coached skills and drills, and 1-on-1, 3-on-3, and 5-on-5 games, with college coaches able to watch all the action in one location. Attending recruiters include NCAA Division II and III, junior college, and prep school coaches. Players receive a professional reversible jersey, and college coaches receive player profile information. The program also includes guidance on the college recruiting process from Binder. Binderhoops offers the Skills Academy and Steven Binder’s book, Your Recruiting Playbook, which outlines steps for pursuing college sports opportunities.
