Bingeki

Bingeki is an open-source platform that turns following manga and anime into a role-playing-style experience. Designed for fans who want more than passive viewing, it lets users build a personal library, track chapters, episodes and volumes, and organize titles into categories such as in progress, paused and archived. Reading progress earns experience points, while badges, levels and rankings add a playful sense of achievement.

The platform also offers a searchable database of thousands of anime and manga, with filters for genres, ratings and popularity. Each title can have a detailed information page featuring its synopsis, staff, characters and statistics. Community features help members follow friends’ activity, compare collections and badges, and share opinions without spoilers.

Bingeki is designed for mobile use and can be installed as a progressive web app, with offline access available and push notifications planned. The project is being developed with community input, including feedback, changelog updates and a public roadmap. Future plans include guilds and competitive guild rankings.
