Bio-Omix

Bio-Omix is a health technology company developing molecular tests to help identify disease risk earlier and support more timely clinical decisions. It begins with pregnancy, focusing on preterm birth, preeclampsia, and gestational diabetes—conditions that can affect mothers and babies and may have long-term health consequences. The company aims to develop tests usable from the first prenatal visit, based on a finger-prick dried blood sample that can be processed in standard laboratories.

At the heart of its approach is MetaboBridge, an AI-assisted biomarker discovery platform designed to translate scientific evidence into practical, test-ready panels. It draws on fields including metabolomics, proteomics, and lipidomics, with biomarker candidates assessed for measurability, reproducibility, clinical relevance, and potential protection. Bio-Omix designs and validates panels and develops test kits, while clinical and reference laboratories are intended to run and offer the tests.

The company’s platform and tests remain under research and development and are not approved for clinical use. Bio-Omix also envisions extending its work beyond pregnancy to postpartum health and broader cardio-renal-metabolic and organ-aging risks.
