AABA hosts an annual meeting that attracts over two thousand scientists and students globally, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing in the field. The organization offers a variety of programs and resources aimed at supporting the professional development of its members.
Noteworthy initiatives include the Pollitzer Student Travel Awards, designed to assist students in attending meetings, and the Cobb Professional Development Grants, which aim to cultivate early-career scientists. AABA also hosts workshops through its IDEAS Program, strengthening community and professional preparation.
