Biochar Life is a brand dedicated to empowering smallholder farmers and healing our planet. Our mission is to tackle climate change, enhance public health, and alleviate rural poverty by working with these farmers. We achieve this through training communities in the creation of biochar and helping them generate c-sink credits, which puts more money back into their hands while making a global impact.

Through our training and support, smallholder farmers can increase their income by producing biochar and earning c-sink credits. This financial empowerment leads to improved living standards and stimulates local economies. By teaching farmers to create biochar, we also protect the planet by advancing sustainable agriculture, sequestering carbon, reducing emissions, and fostering corporate carbon-offset partnerships.

Biochar enhances soil fertility and crop yields, reducing the reliance on chemical fertilizers. This fosters healthier food systems, cleaner water sources, and improved public health, ensuring longer life expectancy for our farmer communities. Additionally, Biochar Life champions social equality by offering equal opportunities to marginalized agricultural groups, empowering women, youth, and disadvantaged communities in the sustainable agriculture sector.

Over the past 10 years, Biochar Life and Warm Heart Worldwide have trained over 10,000 farmers in biochar production. Our trainings and projects have been funded by various governments and individual donors from around the world. We are accredited by the Ithaka Institute and the International Biochar Initiative.
