Biocoop

Biocoop Les Arcades is a neighborhood organic grocery store in central Saint-Étienne, France, at 13 rue Président Wilson. Part of the employee-owned Bionacelle cooperative, which operates four stores, it aims to support the local community and make responsible shopping convenient. Its team helps customers choose products aligned with ethical and sustainable values.

The store offers seasonal organic fruit and vegetables, groceries for a range of diets—including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and no-added-sugar options—and self-service cheese. Customers can also find bread from local bakers and products from regional and cooperative producers. The selection emphasizes bulk goods, including grains, pasta, rice, snacks, breakfast foods, oils, and household and personal-care items such as soap, toothpaste, and deodorant. Reusable-container and fair-trade products are also part of the range.

Biocoop Les Arcades provides online shopping with Click & Collect, alongside in-store service, promotions, recipes, and local news. Through Biocoop’s farmer-partner network, the cooperative supports organic agricultural producers and gives them a role in decisions.
