IIS Biobizkaia is a health research institute based in Bizkaia, Spain, bringing together scientific research, clinical practice and innovation to advance health and healthcare. Its work spans primary care, prevention, chronic diseases and ageing; cancer; endocrinology, metabolism, nutrition and kidney disease; autoimmune, inflammatory and infectious conditions; nervous system disorders; biomedical engineering and health technologies; and maternal and child health and assisted reproduction.
