About Netzwerk Biodiversität Österreich
The Network Biodiversity Austria is an open community dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration for biodiversity and ecosystem services. The network aims to strengthen biodiversity in Austria by facilitating cooperation among stakeholders from science, administration, politics, business, and civil society. Serving as the coordination center and communication hub of the network is the Biodiversity Hub at the Danube University Krems. In today's global challenges, it is essential to bring together diverse disciplines and ensure broad societal participation to find effective solutions. The Network Biodiversity Austria provides a platform for all individuals and institutions interested in enhancing biodiversity and ecosystem services in Austria. The website for the network was developed with support from the Lower Austria (Land NÖ) FTI project "Biodiversity" (2017-2020).
